Privacy Policy — MultiHandler
MultiHandler is a free desktop application, publicly available for download from this website, that helps creators publish their own videos to their own social media accounts (TikTok, YouTube, Facebook Pages, Instagram) in one action. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
1. Data stored on your device
All MultiHandler data is stored locally on your own computer in the application's data folder (for example, on Windows: %AppData%\MultiHandler\multihandler\db.json). Nothing is sent to our servers — there are none. The stored data includes:
- Topics you create (names only).
- Account connections: OAuth access tokens and account identifiers (channel/page/account names and IDs) for the social accounts you connect. These tokens are used solely to publish content on your behalf when you choose to post.
- Scheduled and queued posts: captions, titles, tags, target accounts, and file paths (references, not copies) of videos on your computer.
- App settings (theme, data folder location).
2. Data sent to platforms
When you click Post (immediately or on schedule), MultiHandler sends the following only to the platforms you selected, using their official public APIs:
- The video/image file you chose, plus the caption, title, tags, and privacy setting you entered.
- For Instagram: because the Instagram API requires a public media URL, the app uploads the file to a public file host (catbox.moe) and passes that URL to Instagram. This only happens when you post to Instagram without providing your own URL.
Data is never sent anywhere else.
3. Data we collect
We collect nothing. MultiHandler has no analytics, no tracking, no telemetry, and no user accounts. The developer cannot see, access, or retrieve any of your data.
4. Third parties
The app communicates directly with the official APIs of TikTok, Google (YouTube), and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) to publish your content at your instruction. Their handling of that content is governed by their own privacy policies. The optional Instagram file-hosting step uses catbox.moe.
5. Data retention and deletion
Your data lives in your local data folder for as long as you use the app. You can delete it at any time:
- Disconnect an account in the Accounts tab to remove its tokens.
- Delete topics, posts, or history in the app.
- Uninstalling the app and deleting its data folder removes everything.
6. Security
OAuth tokens are stored in your local data file on your own machine. Keep your computer secure; anyone with access to your user profile could read the app's local files. Never share your data folder publicly.
7. Children's privacy
MultiHandler is a creator publishing tool and is not directed at children under 13.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published here with a new "Last updated" date.
9. Contact
For privacy questions about MultiHandler, contact the developer through the TikTok developer portal where this app is registered.
